FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Revolution to Rights: America at 250” spotlights U.S. History on "Historical Drama with The Boston Sisters®" in 2026 podcast series
Washington, DC – January 8, 2026 – "Historical Drama with The Boston Sisters®" 2026 podcast schedule features a lineup of films and series about America’s 250-year history of advancing freedom since the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The theme for the 10-part special series is Revolution to Rights: America at 250 and emphasizes stories that show that freedom is not just a state-of-being, but continuous collective actions that shape the American identity and experience.
“So much of our history is rooted in the quest for freedom,” said co-host Taquiena Boston. “Now in our 5th podcast season, our hope for this American History series is to inspire listeners to not only absorb lessons from the past but also to be inspired to participate as history makers in the United States' continuing story, working in their communities to advance the promise of the nation.”
The Revolution to Rights series begins January 27, 2026 with LINCOLN. Release dates and guest details for the podcasts will be announced along with regular historical drama podcast offerings.
“We chose to kick off the series with films about the U.S. Civil War,” says co-host Michon Boston. “The Civil War represents a pivotal moment in our nation's history, challenging us to confront the true meaning of freedom and to shape an American identity grounded in those principles.”
Each Revolution to Rights podcast will explore key moments in factual history dramatized through films and miniseries in conversations with distinguished guests who include historians, curators, artists, writers, and civic leaders. The intention is to remind audiences of the varied paths taken – and the many battles fought – toward achieving freedom for all. The series will also encourage audiences to engage in further reading, visits to historic sites, and civic engagement, and connecting their family and community history to the United States 250-year anniversary.
